From Survival to Sound:
King Ace D’General
King Ace D’General embodies what it truly means to be a street rapper—raw, authentic, and impossible to ignore. His presence carries a rare combination of lived experience, versatility, and energy that isn’t just heard, but felt. Ace’s journey stands as proof that dedication, resilience, and faith can overcome even the darkest circumstances.

Born in Rhode Island, Ace spent his early years moving between Rhode Island and New York before being forced out of his home at just 13 years old. By 14, he was navigating the Boston foster care system while experiencing periods of homelessness, learning to survive on his own at an age when most are still finding their way. Influenced by his surroundings, he became entangled in the juvenile justice system, spending his teenage years in and out of custody.
By adulthood, survival had become second nature. Drawn deeper into street life, Ace aligned with the Latin Kings and quickly rose through the ranks. At 17, he was shot in the back and nearly lost his life. At 23, he was shot three more times with a .40-caliber weapon—and survived again. Despite these near-death experiences, the cycle continued, ultimately leading to a federal RICO case. Ace served 2 years in county, followed by 3.5 years upstate and 3.5 years in federal prison, receiving enhanced penalties for his leadership role as Boston Crown Chairman.
Since his release, Ace has redirected that same intensity into his music and his family. His records reflect real-life experiences, delivered with a level of authenticity that resonates far beyond his city. With videos surpassing half a million views, his recent release “Forces” featuring Millyz generated over 300,000 organic views in just 12 days.
Now entering a pivotal chapter in his career, King Ace D’General has secured a distribution deal with CMG Music, positioning him for a larger stage while staying true to his roots. His first release under CMG, the highly anticipated project “GOLD BLOODED,” marks a defining moment in his evolution as an artist. With upcoming collaborations alongside Albee Al and Styles P, Ace is building undeniable momentum and solidifying his place as one of the most compelling voices coming out of the region. More than just an artist, King Ace D’General represents survival, growth, and transformation—turning pain into purpose and experience into sound.
